A team of Soviet NKGB soldiers hold position in the wreckage of a ruined building, while Snipers keep watch for any stray Sh ' We ' Pel forces.


2074 is a total conversion mod for Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3.

And 'Electric Funeral' is a cool song by Black Sabbath.

Also, this picture was drawn completely by hand, and then blurred in photoshop a little.

Being a C&C-nerd, I'm so checking this mod out. Looks awesome so far and I gotta say I love your shading!

For those who are curious, NKGB is an acronym for... something in russian which translates to "State Commissariat for National Security" or something to that effect. Whereas service in the Red Army is mandatory to all Soviet citizens, NKGB service is a voluntary job offered only to members of the Bolshevik party (think of the relationship between the Wehrmacht and the Waffen-SS in Nazi Germany).

NKGB Stormtroopers receive the best training and equipment available in the Soviet Union, and their skill and discipline stands in stark contrast to the angry mob of the Red Army.

The gas masks, while functional, are primarily there to look cool.

You're welcome. heh I'm a CNC dedicated fan (since the original :> ) and playing my Red Alert 3 inspired me to do a RA themed drawing. So I went around looking for inspiration and well I saw your drawing and man... I think you did an awesome job on it. I am especially impressed with the KBG troops, they look really good. I wish I was capable of doing something like this :/ How long did it take you to create it?

I forget the exact number of hours...probably around 8-10, I'd wager.
