A drawing of the Hero of the Imperium himself, from the Ciaphas Cain series of Warhammer 40,000 Novels.

Done with nothing but #2 Pencils, touched up in Photoshop a bit.

:-? "Wait... WHAT?!"
That's awesome! I love all the detail.
I had a friend who had a bunch of the warhammer 40K models. fascinating stuff the way the detail is painted on the miniatures.

Most impressive :) I'd have to say that the Cain novels are personally my favorite W40K ones.
Heh, they seem to be everyone's favorite.

It's probably just the fact that they manage to be funny without being stupid or detracting from the Grim Darkness Of The 41st Millennium(tm).

Yeah, I seem to have a bad habit of making the legs a wee bit shorter than they should be...

1. Punishment must be cruel and unusual to be effective
2. If you don't like the U.S. you can leave, we don't want you anyway.
3. 90% of anarchists would die during the first few hours of an anarchy.
Heh, I think that's just the sort of "propaganda poster" style the cover of each Ciaphas book has.

I mean, do you even remember him heroically riding atop a Leman Russ, or firing a boltgun wildly at a mass of surrounding Tyranids?
